Crystal Grid Your Home

Crystal Grids are a great way to set intentions, manifest your goals, promote healing or affect the energy of a space. But did you know that you can grid your home? This is a great way to create a peaceful environment and protect yourself and your home from negative energy. Here is our easy step-by-step guide to gridding your home;

Step 1:

Give your home a good clean. Remove any dust, rubbish or clutter where possible. Once your house is clean, smudge every room in the house. You can do this with the White Sage Smudge Stick included in your Home Gridding Set. "Start in the back of the home and waft the smoke into the corners of the room and up to the ceiling. As you go, visualise negative and unwanted energies drifting out of your space with the billowing sage smoke. Focus on your intentions and let the sage guide you as you smudge from room to room towards the entrance of your home. Pay special attention to any areas that feel dark or heavy where energy may be stuck, and continue smudging until you sense the energy shift to light and clear." Make sure that you also cleanse the crystals included in your set, especially the Black Tourmaline, Clear Quartz and Red Tiger Eye. Selenite is self-cleansing.

Step 2:

Set intentions with your crystals. Hold your crystals in your hands and clear your mind of any negativity. You may like to do a breathing exercise or meditate with your crystal for a few minutes. Choose an intention that is true to your short and long-term goals, trying not to be too specific or materialistic. A good rule of thumb, when asking the Universe for anything is to focus on a need, rather than just a want. For example, you may set the intention that your crystals will help protect your home from any negative people or energies. With a still mind, focus on your crystal and your intention. You may want to describe your intention aloud or repeat it in your head, constantly focusing on the connection between your words and your crystal. Or you may choose to write your intentions down on a piece of paper. Some people even like to hold their crystals over their Third Eye, as they set their intentions. Again, it's important to do what feels right for you. Continue until your body and mind feel that your intention is set. 

Step 3:

Now you can start to place your crystals around your home. Start by placing one Black Tourmaline Tumble, one Clear Quartz Tumble and one Selenite Tumble in the four corners of your home. If your home is not a perfect square, you can also place the stones in the position of north, south, east and west. These crystals are going to help absorb any negative energy. The Selenite will help to keep the other stones cleansed.

Step 4:

Place your two Red Tiger Eye Tumbles at your front door. Ideally, it should be just inside and visible. Red Tiger Eye is protective against the evil eye and attacks at home or while travelling. So you can even take these with you when you travel if you like. It's also a money charm!

Step 5:

Next, you want to create the outside of the grid by placing the remaining Selenite Tumbles along the border of your house or along the windowsill in between each Black Tourmaline. Think of it like you are creating a square pattern around your home. The corners are the Black Tourmaline, Clear Quartz and Selenite and the sides are made by more Selenite Tumbles.


If you have a very big house, you may even want to purchase two of the Home Gridding Sets. If you have walls in the way, just use your discretion/intuition as to where the best position is to place the stones. It's always best to trust in your own gut feelings. It is your home after all. Now your Home Grid is set, some people like to place a crystal in the centre of their home as well and then it's energy and properties can be amplified throughout the home. This crystal can be changed depending on your mood and what you may be trying to manifest at the time. This is just like when making any crystal grid, the centre stone's energy is amplified and the focus.
